There’s a couple of reasons why we think we’re different from many of the other firms across the north and northwest suburbs, or even in Chicago. First, whether it’s for-profit or not-for-profit, we work mostly on flat fees for projects. We like it because it provides a predictable cash flow for us. Clients like it because it provides a predictable budget. We’ll outline for them the steps that have to be taken. Whatever the project is, we’ll give them a payment plan over whatever the estimated time is for that project.

We also think we’re different because we work very hard to explain things in plain English, and that’s not something that’s easy to do. I will confess, when I graduated from law school, I couldn’t do it. Lawyers are taught to speak a certain way, but I think one of the hallmarks of our firm is that we will explain things so that clients can understand what it is they have to do, what the consequences are.

We give good service. We use technology a lot to provide good service that helps the client accomplish their goals. That’s what we’re here for, to understand what the client’s goals are and what’s the best way to help them accomplish it.
