You can do the paperwork at places like Legal Zone. Where my value comes in, is giving advice beyond just processing the paper. What about taxes? Should you, for example, be an S Corporation, or a C Corporation, or a limited liability company? All of which are choices a business owner has to look at, see what makes the most sense. If there are going to be employees, what about employment law? There are always changes – almost every year – to the employment rules and every state is a little different. Getting it off the internet is kind of risky; not something that I would recommend. We’re looking to go beyond just processing the paper, which in most cases is frankly not that difficult.
